W126 OM617 Motor Mounts - L/R Same or Different?
Looking through the threads, I couldn't find any real info on this. The Lemfoerder mounts seem to be made for left and right (same part w/ two blue dots), but I've found other companies (Meyle, for instance) that make separate left and right mounts. The service manual calls out different left and right mounts for the W126 chassis - one blue dot on right, two blue dots on left, and different part numbers.
Is there any visible difference between the mounts (i.e. different screw locations)? Or is the difference shore hardness of the rubber? Will I notice any difference between a one dot or two dot mount on the right?

I recently took a pair of new mounts to my Indy to have him install them. I don't know who made them. Anyway we both looked at the old ones that were still intalled in car and they looked different from eachother, but they were old and used up (distorted). Anyway he called the dealer and the dealer told him both mounts were the same and that is what I had, two identical ones in hand.
He installed them no problem. Hope this helps.
