Hello, I have a 97 E300D. This 606 model has all the plastic fuel lines.
After Running B100 on a trip from AZ to HB in Southern Cal, I awoke to a leaky mess. I had a local MB Indie shop change my shut off, all the plastic lines, etc, etc. This was about 18 months ago. The car is now running rough at idle. I don't have a visible leak anywhere. I put simply green every where, and now everything is spotless. It doesn't smell , and there is not any Diesel wet marks. I can see air in the clear line from the Full fuel filter to the shut off. When I gun it they move away, but I have a fresh supply return. Rather than shot gun replace a bunch of parts, How can you determine, where the air is getting into the system?? Is there a sticky or DIY for the 96-98 E300's?
Thanks
Bill
