I have just recently gotten the 95 E300 back on the road after changing out the head gasket and am having some weird stuff going on with the cruise and turn signals. I'm not sure if they are related or not. I have replaced the rear brake light bulbs and the OVP relay is new. the cruise was not working when I purchased the car. After changing out the head gasket the cruise worked for two times and then stopped working. A few days later I had to pull the battery out to replace the heater water control valve assembly. After buttoning everything up the cruise worked for two different drives immediatedly after the work. It stopped working again after two drives and is currently inoperative. Now for the turn signals. They work on occasion and will stop working or will not work at all. The engine harness has been replaced. Anyone have any thoughts on where to start looking? My first thought is that there is some more wiring harness issues. My plans are to try to read through the cruise control codes tomorrow to see what I can figure out and I will probably pull the intake manifold later on this week to see if I can see anything obvious.
