clunk in reverse 87 tdt

What could be causing a clunking sound when i put wagon in reverse?

loose cv joints, loose driveshaft carrier assy, loose (worn) rear end gears, worn engine or transmission mounts, bad u joint, or maybe loose subframe mounts...

I probably missed a few...

Loose differential mounts possibly. When those went bad in my '87 there was also a clunk when suddenly releasing the gas pedal.
