While poking under the hood I noticed this 8-pin plug (driver's side, front of the engine) that was unplugged and just sitting there... Not sure what this is (or why it's unplugged) - does anyone know what that part is or what is it controlling?! Any reason why that should NOT be plugged in now?!

It's the cruise control servo connector. Probably fell out.
