82 240D Engine Removal (mount problem)

Hey guys. Been searching this forum for advice when it comes to removing my engine from my 82 240D. Your advice I've found in other threads has been great!

Now I have a problem of my own. I've been following the Haynes manual for engine removal and saved the front motor mount bolts as my last step.

Well those stupid hex bolts stripped on me so now I'm stuck. Should I just drill the bolts out or actually remove the whole mount from the side of the motor? (while securing it to the hoist at the same time of course)

On a side note, I'm pulling the motor because the body of my car is shot. The floorpans on both sides are rotted out. I had the car for sale locally in my area (still on craiglist) but couldn't get an offer higher than $200 so I plan to either put the motor in a body that's halfway decent and scrap the frame or part the entire car out and buy a whole "new" 240D or 300D.
