Tire alignment issue? Wheel contacting shock tower mount.

Well to make a long story short I put my benz in a small ditch when it was icy out a while ago. NO body damage but just a scratched up wheel and steering problems. The can will turn furthur to the left than the right, (because when it went off the road it turned the wheel all the way to the left, probably forcing it too far) in fact so far the the inside bead area of the driverside wheel is rubbing the shock tower mount when turned to lock left. I bought a new tire which caused it to stop vibrating, but this issue is becoming a problem. I dont care if its slightly out of alignment, but I don't wanna ruin the wheel.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a bent steering component, inspect carefully. Good luck.

my bet is on a bent spindle ~~~ a good knowledgeable alignment shop can determine this from their readings, might have screwed the steering box too

could be a bent rim- but if you had the tire replaced they should have caught that.

otherwise go in for an alignment check if your not confident to check it yourself.
