I'm sure there are plenty of low mile W123's out there! That one sure is nice though, shame about the color.

Ebay

I've been watching that one on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:VRI&item=330322384275

I like that color combination.

Engine bay doesn't look Kosher, and no underside pictures. My 16 yr. old SD's engine bay looked 3 times better, with 305K miles on it.

He'd have to prove the mileage to me, for me to believe it.

The seller is our old friend from PA, he was the subject of a lengthy thread in the for sale section. He has many aliases and one of them is "strictly sinatra"

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=207706

Every car he and his dad sell they have "inherited" from some long lost family member

He's got lots of names, stories and he's the kind who will spit on you and swear it is raining, if you know what I mean

I must admit, I like a good laugh and story too! "Strictly Sinatra," what a hoot!

I got sucked into Nov. 2007's '80 300SD window-sticker costing "$40K" thread too...... Ha ha!

This car is true (the 77). It belonged to a friend in Staten Island, who inherited it from his grandfather that passed. It was in a climate controlled garage, and when he put it back on the road, all it needed was an a/c charge and a piece in the vacuum pump. It was like new. I wish I could have baught it.
