sun visor WITHOUT mirror?

Did any car come with a drivers side sun visor without a mirror in it? I'm trying to mount a LCD in mine and it does not fit properly in hole where the mirror was. Another possibility is to find the material that it is covered with and re-cover it so that there is no hole. Is it just vinyl?

Yes, lot's of old Mercedes came without a mirror on the driver's side. I've got a set of blue w126 visors from a Euro 380SE setting right beside my desk. The mirror is on the passenger side. No mirror on the driver's side.

Anyone willing to sell some palmino ones for a W126?

The LCD is for my car computer, going to display gauges (built my own USB boost/egt gauge) and GPS navigation.
