need help with my 1993 2.5.........

First of i got original radio and when i turn it on only says "WAIT" and wait message blinks all the time but radio will never start playing no matter what button I press. I have a factory original CD changer in trunk but I am missing cathridge and I did ever since I had car. Would WAIT message appear on radio LCD if i remove CD cathridge out of CD changer???

Second problem is my car shakes on idle. I took it to mechanic and he says my motor moutnts are good but my tranny mount is bad. I ordered transmission mount and it is coming in couple days but the question is can a bad transmission mount make car shake on idle???? If not what is it if my motor mounts are good??????

Welcome

Your Becker radio has certain security features. If power is disconnected(say
the battery was removed from the car)The next time you turn on the radio
the screen will say CODE [there's a 4 or 5 digit number on the Radio card...
Your's is probably long gone...Any dealer can "Find" your CODE with the VIN #.]
If the wrong CODE number is entered more then three times...The Radio screen
will say WAIT (Here's the kicker...depending on how many times the incorrect
CODE was entered you may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes OR 24 Hours beforethe screen will display CODE again).
The power must be available AND the Radio turned on to begin the Countdown.

Let me put it this way...a bad Tranny mount certainly will not Help stability at
idle.

You could have a Dirty or Bad injector.
(Easy test...crack the capnut on top of the Injector fuel line loose...does the
Idle stability change? Try each injector line one at a time...You're looking for
an Injector that does not affect the Idle...There's a Problem with that one
or it's fuel supply.)

You could have a Fuel Filter problem [Primary and Secondary in the engine
compartment...Fuel Strainer mounted UpSide Down in the Bottom of the
Fuel tank.]
Diesel will grow FUNGUS in the Fuel if it's contaminated...FUNGUS clogs filters
engine shakes 'cause it's not getting proper flow.
Look at the little Primary Filter in the fuel line between the Hard Metal line
[coming from the Tank] and the Lift Pump [on the side of the Injection Pump]
is there any Black Crap in it? Fungus.

Thank you. Well I have been driving car for over 3 months and I have always had message "WAIT" for three months. I have the code but I cannot enter it since I have "WAIT" blinking for three months. I took it to dealer and he has no clue how to make "WAIT" dissapear. I bought car this way

I will check my injectors.

Yeah

Turn the radio on at 6pm one weekend night and leave it on all night + a day...when you come out in the P.M. (After 6 P M) it will say CODE and you can enter the Numbers
using the Radio Preset buttons.

Try this product in your fuel tank(It sets up an Enzyme Factory that Kills all
the Fungus and reduces it to such a minute particulate matter that it passes
through the filters and Burns Up in the engine.](You cannot OverDose with it
the whole 8 ounce bottle will only help!)

I admit I have never messed with one of these so I know not whereof I speak. Or... what-of I speak.

How would one do this without draining the battery overnight? Leaving appliances on overnight with no battery charging taking place... normally not a good idea.

Eh?

I Goofed...6P.M. to 6P.M.

Leaving the Radio on will not kill the Battery...IF it's fully charged and in Good
Electrical/Chemical health.

Should I use the whole bottle on tank of diesel? Put whole bottle then fill it or should I disolve it since 8oz is for like 256 gallons of diesel?

Whole 8 Oz Bottle in the Tank

'Will not hurt Anything!
(the 256 Gal figure is what it's LIMITS are capable of under dilution)

It'll mix better with the Fuel,'If you do it on 1/4 tank of Fuel(Or Empty)
AND then refill the tank.
BUT you need relief Now...The Sooner it's in ,the sooner the Crap's Gone!
(AND natural "Sloshing" action of the Tank's motion will help mix )

Thank you. Well I bought the product and did what you told me to do it but no help yet. Since mechanic told me my transsmission mount is bad I also put new transmission mount yesterday and no changes at all still shaking in idle. Ever since i put new trannssmission mount i have from the vibration a little noise on the body of car ( i think exhaust is as it vibrates touching body of car so I got small noise inside cabin) and it is driving me nuts. I do not know how to solve the shaking

Motor Mounts Test

Find something (A Block of Wood?) 13 mm tall...[You want it square and Flat]
See if you can insert it between the Motor Mount and the portion of the frame
the Bottom of the Mount attaches to...
If it won't "Fit" the Hydraulic portion of the Mount has "Collapsed" ,And the
mount needs replacement.

You may have to use up the majority Tank with the Startron in it ,before you see results.
