Looked at a 85 300CD today
I took a look at a 85 300CD today. I do not think I will pursue it any further.
It is dark green (was black but re-painted in dark green). The odometer shows 166kmi and is not working any more. The owner estimates it should have 190kmi by now. The new paint looked very nice. The car starts OK, runs very strong, does not smoke much. Surprisingly, it has enough horses from a dead stop and a lot more once it is moving. The interior shows a little wear but was not clean. Somehow the general condition of the car did not impress me and he asks for $4,800. There is no service records. Back to the hunting mode. Bo |
