First Visit to Crazy Ray's
Yeaterday I went with my friend Mike on our fist visitto the Crazy Ray's pick-n-ull in Jessup Maryland. He needed some Toyota, Volvo and Honda parts, and I wanted to see how Crazy Ray's prices compared to the Viginia Beach Pick-N-Pull.
Also, I recently met a guy in my neighborhood that needs a grill, headlights, and other front body parts for his daughter's wrecked 240D. He said all he could find on places like eBay were greedy sellers asking $100 or more apiece for these items, so I went to see what Crazy'Ray's had for a W123. I did find a useabe grill for $22. The shell was excellent with all the hardware, plastic weathered but unbroken, some of the aluminum strips damaged and the star was broken off. Also found an aftermarket Taiwan brass & copper 240D radiator, but they wanted $45 and the visible parts of the tubes had alot of crud buildup, so I passed on that one. Anyway, Crazy Ray's prices seem to run nearly double, compared to the Virginia Beach Pick-N-Pull, but that's still cheaper than local DC-area salvage yards. My friend Mike spent $88 for most of what he needed for his Honda, some stuff for the Volvo, and nothing for his Toyota. Happy Motoring, Mark

I've been wanting to check that place out...it would be a most-of-the-day affair for me. Is it like $2 to get in or am I remembering that wrong?
