IP Device Next to Stop Unit?
I have a 87' OM603 300sdl california car.
What is the device with 3 wires on top of the IP next to the Sop Unit? I can't find it in the FSM, or DC FSM. It appears to be leaking fuel where it contacts the IP. Picture added. Last edited by CANDIDE; 04-28-2009 at 06:48 PM. Reason: add picture |

It's the fuel rack position sensor. I found it mentioned in my "Introduction to service" manual for 1987 model year.

Probably an "O" ring under the sensor housing. |
