Power windows 85 300SD

None of the windows on my 85 300SD work except the left rear. The fuses appear to be OK. When I press the up down button nothing happens, no sound. I did a search and got no articles. Is there any detailed info on checking them out?

Remove center console and see if you have power to the switches then from the switches if yes
See if you have power to the window lift motor when the switch is activated (inside door). It's time consuming, but you need to find out where the power stops, bad switches are not uncommon either. Most of the time they are just dirty, gummy.

You have at least 1 good fuse. I think MBZ windows have 2 fuses and they are arranged in a diagonal manner. You do not need to raise the center console. You can remove the switches with console in place. You can raise it with a small screw driver. I suspect it is the switch as they are prone to failure.
