I starting putting in a new wiring harness tonight. There is a plug on the new harness that was cut off on the old one, and I can't figure out where it goes- if it even goes. Maybe its for an upgrade that my car didn't have?

If you look at the back of the injection pump, you can see the red capped piece. Some cars had a second one with an identical connector that was mounted slightly above the other.

Maybe this plug was for that connector?

thanks for the reply, I just wanted to confirm it was an extra connector that wasn't needed. Now to finish cleaning the manifold, it was pretty nasty.
