ticking noise 603
today when I started up the sdl I noitced a clear noise that I didnt hear before filling the tank the other day. The car has lost any power, idle is smooth, no blue smoke at start up.
I am thinking its happening because I put the wrong grade diesel in. Seems to me that if it was the injectors, lifters or timing issue the car wouldnt be running well. Its like putting the wrong grade fuel in a gas car the engine. it is possible that a injector(s) or lifter or timing coud be off but it wasnt doing until just now.

Are you running Synthetic Engine Oil?
It will help with any Lifter noises.
AND slip either one of these Red Line product in the Fuel Tank (The 85+ will raise the Cetane more than the Catalyst)

I was running synthetic oil then switch to regular oil since the synthetic was leaking out a lot of places. When I went to regular oil it wasnt ticking at all. Just started now. But ill try those additives or find another fuel station that has better fuel.
