radiator problems

I have a radiator leak on my 1979 300sd. I have searched the internet (including this site) for a replacement and have been unable to find anything.

I called 1-800 radiator this morning and their supplier told them a replacement was not available.

Will a radiator from another model fit.... 126 ?

I have an appointment with a business that may be able to repair it, but given that it looks like it is the original new radiator may be a good investment.

Looks like Phil nor Rusty have em, you could probably give them a call and see if they can track one down. Phil = Fastlane/allpartsexpress/sponsor of this site. If that fails, call the stealership and get a quote.

Where is the leak? Perhaps it can be repaired by a radiator shop.

Another route might be going with used parts. If you can't find one locally, I believe someone like www.tri-starparts.com or www.mercedesdismantlers.com might be reputable as they both advertise in The Star magazine.
