Go for it.
If your fuel lines are original, the bio may start to degrade the rubber. You will want to keep a change of fuel filters on hand... after a couple of tanks, the bio will clean out the sludge that's deposited in your fuel tank/lines. Chances are you will not need to replace the fuel and return lines, unless you go a long time on the B99. Your engine will thank you for running the bio, trust me.

All fuels may vary in quality, possibly plugging filters, or if water contaminated, damaging the IP and injectors via cavitation or corrosion. Water is part of the biodiesel process, and must be removed. Since B100 is much thinner than WVO, aquabloc filters may work, where they don't with WVO, which holds significant quantities in emulsion.
If long term use is planned, replace your fuel and injector return lines with Viton or Viton lined tubing when they start to weep.

Quote:
If your return lines are original on the 83 you should think about changing them anyway......they were not designed to last 26 years even with dino diesel. All pumped & taxed "Biodiesel' is federally regulated and must meet the ASTM D 6751 minimum standard to be used as transportation fuel. There should not be any varience in quality or water contamination unless it happened at the pumping station.......and that could happen to any fuel including gasoline and dino diesel.
