96 E300 Antenna Question
Hi,
i finally figured out the code for the radio in my 96 E300D. Noticed that the antenna did not go anywhere. Is there supposed to be a switch. It should come up when the radio is on, right??? |

I was told by others on this forum the radio antenna is built into the rear window and that the antenna that looks like it should come up is in fact for the cell phone option.

96 E300 Antenna Question
Ohh really. thats awsome. Does anyone know where that signal goes to. I mean where can I tap into that antenna. Would be nice to experiment with cell signal.

I was told that too about my 96. It never went up or down, always stayed down. However when I manually pulled it up, my radio all of the sudden got great reception. I would have to think the rear window defroster would interfere with an antenna crossing it like that.
