blue devil radiator stop leak

anybody know if this will cause damage?

a freind of mine asked me if it was any good after he already put it in. Ive always been of the opinion you cant buy a mechanic in a can. anyone have success with this?

This product sounds great but you are correct sir you cannot buy a mechanic in a can. This might work for a while as will most radiator stop leaks but most of them will clog at least the heater core some will clog the radiator as well. I have used them in the past and they have held up for a few years other products I have used just clogged the crap out of the radiator and I had to replace it. Hope your friend has good luck.

I hope so too. The cars not worth the 1800 he was quoted to replace the head gaskets, hopefully it will last a year or two

Yes. It will plug passages in the radiator and heater core.
