Oil cooler line leak

The 300 SD has been holding oil better lately, however I think the oil cooler line is leaking more. It looks like it is leaking at the connector where the front hose connects to the rear hose, near the left motor mount. It is in a very difficult location to get a wrench and a backer wrench into. The nut on the hose looks like a 23 mm, while the coupling is smaller, maybe a 20 mm.

Has anyone developed any tricks to tighten this coupling? Has anyone dealt with this line in any way? It looks like if the coupling could be snugged up a little the leak would stop. I would appreciate the input of the diesel brain trust in this forum.

Thanks again,
Doug Vazquez
