You know you have a Mercedes problem when...

...your garage AND driveway are overflowing with them

...when you call the parts department of the dealer 10 minutes before they close looking for a gasket, and the recognize your voice and offer to leave it out with the sales staff and tell you "you can just pay for it next time"

lmfao! Im glad the bug hasn't bit me that hard.

Wait no, it has. I just don't have the wallet power for that madness ...yet

I think it's cool though, we're enthusiasts with values. We don't make ricers and push the limits with everything and use zipties on everything possible, we have common sense and we keep the legacy rolling - no matter how much rust covers said legacy.

  1. when your wife starts encouraging you to buy a broken car to part out....
  2. when you go look at 2 project cars in the same afternoon and come home to tell your wife you might buy both of them.
  3. when your daughters can point out w123 sedans
  4. when your daughter tells a camp counselor who then says he might want to buy one
.

And that's just last week. Sheesh!!!!

I keep pulling and buying parts at PNP that I don`t need, and I don`t have room for more .

Plus I drive people crazy pointing out every MB I see

I drove 700 miles to a GTG.

When people keep asking you " how many of these do you own ? "

And it takes a while to count them up, and you usually forget one or two.

Good thing is, no one misses my house when they come for the first time.

Just tell them " the house with all the old mercedes, youll see it after you turn "

Uh oh, doesn't look good for me--only 21 years old and on my first. I believe I've infected the family though, my father is now looking for one!

When you come out of the mall and can't really remember which car you drove there.
When one of this kids call to tell you they borrowed a car (last week) and you didn't notice it gone.

LOL on the mall. I actually walked to someone else's 300SDL and almost stuck my key in the door. Then realized it was the wrong color.
