I'll pass on this............

85 SD
255k on the clock
rust on just about ever body panel
interior shot....looks like it has been baking in the southern sun for yrs.
black over red.......try finding those interior parts at a PNP.
multiple dings and dents, but hey, the paint sucks anyway.
front windows don't work.
Doesn't know if the A/C works???This is in south FL.....How could you not know?

Owner doesn't even know for sure if it is a 5 or 6 cyl

They look in KBB or NADA, look at the low value and figure if they knock a little off that price, that's fair. I mean, to be honest, most people aren't "in the loop" when it comes to what these cars actually sell for. They figure even if it's beat up, it must be worth something. I don't really blame them, and in some cases feel sorry for them ... they'll learn soon enough what they're car is really worth when it won't sell for $^#%. Sure, in some cases the seller is just full of you-know-what and is trying to find a sucker, but most of the time I think they truly believe their car is worth that. And four or five years ago, $1,800 for a diesel MB that runs and drives probably wouldn't have been that outrageous. People are always overly optimistic about what their stuff is worth.
