any recent brake work?
another thing to think about is if your light is on then you have undervoltage problem, a current feed to the control unit interupted. look through this- http://www.mediafire.com/?wnulfvemdfo

If the light is not coming on during the ~6mph test cycle, it is likely not the pump.
Different size tires will cause a problem on some ABS, especially front, including under-inflated tires. More likely it's a sensor or tone-ring problem, and that is usually in the front. Look for any damage to the wiring, and for clean sensors and tone-ring.
