1984 300SD Throttle Linkage question
I really think I have a problem with my throttle linkage, but I can't figure out what is going on.
When I pull on some of the linkages I get an immediate response from the engine, whereas other linkages are really difficult to pull. When I step on the pedal with the engine started there is major lag in the response of the engine. When I have my son step on the pedal with engine off, the linkage goes to the pin on the IP. When I adjust the bowden cable, it changes the ability of the linkage to hit the pin on the IP. Any help is appreciated. 0-60 time is 23 seconds....fuel filters changed.....banjo bolt and lines cleaned....not getting into alda yet, until I have everything else sorted.

Check the rubber/plastic bushings.
