Central Florida GTG - August 15th, 2009

Here is the official Schedule:

10:00am - Arrive at Pierre's. Stick around as long as you want, pretty sure Pierre will have a tech session with us.
2:00pm (approx) - Leave for Five Guys on Sand Lake Rd. in Orlando
3/4:00pm (approx) - Head over to Universal Blvd. for some rolling shots
5:00pm (approx) - Help Tyler and I remove Norm's veggie oil kit.

This is all VERY flexible, and more of a "go with the flow" sort of get together. We can spend as much or as little time doing any of these things, and if majority rules, we can change up what we are doing.

The veggie oil kit removal won't take too long, and please don't try to damage it if you show up It's being donated to Greensburg, Kansas.

Hope to see you all there!

Pierre's address:

1000 South Pine Street
Titusville, FL. 32955

Five Guys Sand Lake address:

3042 W Sand Lake Rd,
Orlando, FL‎ 32819

Hey everybody!

Tyler (TylerH860) is headed down this way in about a month to Orlando, so what better time to have a get together?! Nothing is really set in stone besides a date, that being August 15th. Pretty much it would be a day event with a drive, then lunch/dinner. Hopefully we can work something out with Pierre as well and possibly start our day there.

Right now it would be great to see how many people would be interested in coming, and take some suggestions about what all to do during the day. Maybe Fantasy of Flight?

So like I said, nothing planned for the day just yet but suggestions are welcome and Tyler and I will most definitely be there!

Let the list begin!

1. Colin - 300TD - colincoon
2. Tyler - 300D - TylerH860

I'll be putting my R12 AC to the test, but Its time for Ol' Turbo to see more of the South. I'm very excited to put some names to faces like my California trip. I'll be stopping in Dallas and New Orleans on the way down, and Memphis on the way back.

If anyone knows of a large indoor facility that will host, let us know. Otherwise, how about a place with alot of shade?

August, huh?

I serious doubt that Coda will be ready. How long are you going to stay in Memphis, Tyler?

If we go for a drive we need to stick together, Pierre is not to be up front. My 220D is down for maintenance so she will be on the road for another 20 years. I am going to try and replace all rubber parts.
It looks like I will be in the 1976 240D
If there is a prize for rustiest car and still on the road I will get it.

Wow you guys are having a get together for my birthday, how nice of you! You should have planned it a little closer to me though. Enjoy.

Sounds like a plan

The 15th is a good date for me. Fantasy of flight or something on the west side of Orlando may attract more folks from the Tampa/Sarasota area.

Fantasy of flight would be fun, however it is quite the haul from Pierre's. If Pierre's doesn't work out, we could always go there.
