What size voltage regulator is in my 83 300d?
Looking to replace my voltage regulator,but there two sizes 55 amp and the 65 amp,I don't know what size my alternator is?Going to put about 2400 miles on this car in two weeks,going to SC from PA, back to PA.then Upstate NY and back,Iam guessing the 65amp because the has power windows,A/C not sure

The parts house I use has only the 65 amp listed, yet the manual I have says 55 amps on all 123's.
The extra regulator I have doesn't have anything on it that would designate on or the other.

If your source actually gives you choices, it would be safe to buy the larger (65 Amp) size, providing it will physically fit in your alternator.
