HELP: Left over plug / picture
I have removed the intake manifold and changed out a glow plug. When I was putting things back together I noticed a plug that has no place to go. I do not remember removing it and I have no idea where it goes.
Given that it is tied off I was thinking maybe it has no home. The wiring harness was replaced in June of 2007. The only problem with that is the plug looks perfectly clean inside the plugs so how could that be after 2 years of driving? I have looked for 20 min at least and I do not see anything that it could plug into. The plug is pointing toward the engine. If were plug in a different direction I would assume the heat would have molded it to stay in another direction like the other two right. Any ideas? I do not want to pull this thing apart again. Top center plug is the back of the IP. The two plugs near the "Y" vacuum hose go to some sort of vacuum box attached to the underside of the IM. Engine is a 606 non-turbo. [IMG][/IMG] Thanks

After several phone calls it was determined that it is not needed in this car and hence it being tied off. Whew.
