Door handles stick open

I have searched the threads but haven't found instructions on how to fix door handles that stick open. When I pull the handle out I have to push it back in before I close the door or else it will be loose. If someone can reference a thread where this is discussed or provide me with instructions that would be great. Thank you.

If its the indoor handle, the pin the holds the handle to the handle assembly is loose or broken. You need to remove the door panel to access the assembly. Once you have the panel removed you will see a split pin that secures the handle that you pull to open the door. Its likey loose or possibly the assembly may be broken.

Sorry that I didn't specific. I meant to say outside door handles. The inside handles work fine.
