I love the wheels on the car!

Tehachapi is a great place for train watching also. The loop is very impressive. My father in law took a picture of a freight train crossing over itself.

You should come on down to Lancaster/Palmdale and say hey to the guys here. Aroundthescenes, Mclare, Bradelee, and myself. I'm closer to Leona Valley.

I've often wondered how the newer wheels would look on a W123. Yours are sharp! Are they polished or chromed?

I'm in Palmdale too. Yup, love the loop. People come from all over the U.S. to watch trains going up the loop. I'm hoping to retire in Tehachapi. Nice place. Pretty unspoiled, as far as SoCal goes. Still a "small town".

Very nice looking wagon, and I just love the all aluminum air filter assembly. Polish that and your aluminum valve cover and you will love the results.
Nice looking TD!!!

Wheels look great. Was your hood up for a reason or just to show off?

When I was younger, me and a couple of friend's rode the loop from Bakersfield to Mojave in an open boxcar. That was impressive...Robert

I know one of the police officers on the Tehachapi Police force. An old antique gun trading bud. I need to go see that loop. I have been to Tehachapi several times but never seen the loop. I bet it is much like the one on the east side of the Rockies near Boulder on the way up to Moffat Tunnel, but the train doesn't pass over it'self..I don't think.
