YAAC thread

I think this site, due to all the A/C threads, should put together a total kit. After
working all day it would be nice to just "click a package" to get what you need.

A one click package based on a new or rebuilt compressor.

New compressor.
O-ring kit and bottle of suitable Nyloc.
Receiver dryer.
Perhaps a new belt
8 oz or whatever for the application of synthetic oil
Expansion valve.
Perhaps a flush kit
Anything I missed, you get the drift.

I've also been wanting to spend some money lately
to do some projects, but have been too lazy to fiddle
with ordering stuff one part at a time.

A filter kit would be nice as well.
Say 3 oil filters, 3 fuel primary and secondary, and a powersteering and
tranny filter, one click. A monthly kit, or a yearly filter kit

I was going to order a pile of parts last night but it just got more fiddley
than I wanted to deal with. Like there were 2 part numbers for my wife's
84 SD for the tranny filter, with no explanation as to what was for where.
I wanted to just quickly get all the stuff I needed to do a tranny service, and fluid
on my 85 fed and her Cali 84. I thought they both took all the same filters, but there were 2 fliters listed for 84SD.

You get my drift. I want to spend my money here, but that other site has
quick paks for lazy old men, hehe. Yeah in the time it took me to post this
I could have looked it all up. I don't mind spending 20 bucks extra to
get a fast kit for something like the A/C, and filterkits. Even other things
like a suspension kit, one click, etc. Am I lazy and spoiled, yeah. But I'm
old and still do my own work and want an easy way out,heh

Every place I have ever worked; vehicle Parts and even ordering mundane Office Supplies are all a PITA to and deal with.
Other than gritting your teeth and doing what is needed to get the parts ordered (and hopping that they send what you ordered).
So far I have not been anyplace where they have a better solution.
