Camshaft Lubrication Question

I took the oil cap off my car today to check blow-by, and I was looking at the oil flow. It seems that there isn't enough oil getting on the cam lobes. I made a video of it, let me know what you think. Thanks

I can see the oil squirting.. but can't tell the force. It should be a good stream, but not dribbling.

Maybe before the next oil change run some ATF mixed in up to operating temp for a handful of miles.

Can't see enough on the video to judge. Find a friend who will show you his oil ejaculation and see how it compares to yours.

every now and then the lobe would black-out indicating it was covered in oil...

what happens when you rev it up?

I'll give you that one..

it should only idle, do not apply load to the engine except for some very slow neutral accelerations.

Using ATF in the engine period is a bad idea. If you want to clean out the engine, and keep it clean, switch to synthetic. Only oil should be put in the engine.
