Anyone in Phoenix to checkout a 300SD?

You guys keep saying to be patient and the right car will eventually surface. Well, I'm in the market for another car and I'm really stuck on '87 300D's. I love the idea of the six cylinder in that size of a car. It would have to pass the "wife" test. I already have 2 SAAB Sonett's in the back yard, so the MB would have to be one of our family cars that she would enjoy driving.

Here's a 1987 300D I'd like someone to take a look at. It's 1600 miles away from me, but it may be worth the trouble if it's a great car. It probably has a #14 head, so any signs of overheating would be a problem.

Thanks,
Steve

That's gotta be a rare find!

Sorry! I've been looking at way too many cars lately. I really don't know why I put an "S" in there. Just showing my ignorance.

Sorry Steve, my intention was never to embarrass.
Rogue letters are just my forum "bit". Somebody will pop on here soon enough to tell you how quickly you will learn to ignore me.

Bridgeport or Scottsboro Al?

If that is a Scotsdale AZ one owner car thats a very good start. Lots of money there. It looks good in the pictures I wish they listed it as a 6 cylinder. Always makes me wonder if they really want to sell something they should get it right. I'm in Tucson and not that excited about a 200 mile round trip. Hopefully someone from Phoenix will post up. Thanks

I'm hoping someone recognizes the car and has some inside info about it.

Phoenix area has 4.5 million people. Finding someone that knows the car must have some pretty long odds. Good luck. Thanks

There probably are a few there, they just have to be on line to see this post.
Or are sitting on the side lines rooting for you, and don`t want to get in the game.
