87 300d dash mice nest
Hi Everyone,
I recently posted about removing my lower dash panel and I received some great help as I found a nest and it helped get rid of 75%-90% of the smell. I still am getting the smell and I have learned from a member that I can also remove the blower motor from the wiper area in front of the windshield to see if there is a nest inside. Im hoping and trying to avoid having to remove the dash. Does anyone have any mice nest experience in this car in the dash area or from a similar MB that could give me ideas on other areas I could check so I dont have to pull the dash? I do plan on pulling the cluster to have the gauges fixed soon so I thought possibly it would allow me look into the dash further when its gone. Would removing and checking the center console help? If anyone with experience is anywhere near NYC I would be willing to drive if they would help me with this for a fee of course. Im allergic to the mice urine so any help would be appreciated!! Thanks, Bob |

pulling a w124 dash is really not that big of a deal. I have done it many times.

Start by pulling the instrument cluster out (pulls out toward you, extend the steering first) and you can see quite a bit. Pull the glovebox also.
