Owner Manuals

I just purchased a 1973 220D. The only owner manual I find that references the 220D is for the 1972 model. I've found an owner's manual for the 1973 220, but it doesn't mention the diesel model. Would either of these manual serve? one more than the other? Thanks

For $19.99 + $7 shipping you can buy the Factory Service Manual CD and have your whole car covered except for rebuilding of the trans mission.
I have seen the old Owners Manuals and even the repringed Owners manuals on eBay go for about the $19.
In the 123 Factory Service Manual CD set there is also a generic Owners manual for 123s included in the CD; I do not know if it is the same with the 220D.

When I was running a 115 I had a cd, an old chiltons book and a haynes for the 123. Between the three we could usually find an answer.

At least the CD that I have (ebay, likely bootleg version) pulls up in a browser & also have pdf files. You likely only have to unzip and copy to your hard drive. I loaded a linux os in an attempt to dump ms & the cd works with ubuntu. Unfortunately it only goes back to mid 80s model years or I'd send what you need.

I have zero experience with MAC computers so I cannot answer that.
But, do you know someone or have access to an IBM at work?
You do not have to download anything from the CD onto the Computer to use it.

The actual instructions are PDF files.

Unforunately I bought my 123 CD set from Mercedes Manuals at total cost of $53. Later On this forum I found out the cost to buy direct.

Even at the inflated price it has easily saved me that $53 with in several months of use.

You can use the CD on a mac. Open up matrix.htm in the program folder.
