oil leaks....
my '80 300sd is leaking oil pretty badly these days. I've replaced the front seal and vacuum pump gasket, which helped a little, and I've also kept a good valve cover gasket at all times. It's a turbo car of course.
Is there common leaks that I should check before tackling this messy problem? It seems that the trans oil cooler lines are leaking where they bolt on to the ac compressor. I haven't been able to find these lines new outside of MB dealership. Note: they are not the same as the 300d turbo cars. Also I've noticed some wet oil presence on the passenger side of the block. COULD THIS BE TURBO COOLING LINES LEAKING? Any suggestions would be helpful to resolve these issues.
