Just saw on Deutsche Welle that the
2002 coupe (hatchback) comes with a turbodiesel.
It was basically reviewed as good performance,
a notch under the gas model Kompressor.
The hatch was criticised, looks and visibility not too
good.
But then again for the sticker price that the TDI has once the bare bones car is upgraded, the young crowd it
seems to be marketed to, would opt for some other sporty model, like some other Benz or a Porsche.
Same holds true for the Kompressor gas model no doubt.
