How to check OVP Relay/fuse 1985 300D California

I have a 1985 300D (Caliifornia model), the tach is out and the AC is out, which seems like it would be caused by the OVP relay.

I read that the relay is located in the passenger side kickpanel, but all I see is an outlet for the computer and a big black box that I can't figure out how to open through the little opening in the panel.

Am I looking in the right spot? I'm confused.

You are in the right place but the OVP can't be seen through that little door. You have to remove the entire panel. I think it's held in place by a screw or two and the door edge trim. You may have to take off the underdash panel first.

I found it, johninva is right. It's directly below the rightmost AC vent. Saying it's under the kickpanel isn't quiet right.
