My benz is healthy

My Benz was very sick, rough idle at start up, very little power, weeping oil cooler lines, bad door check, non working ac and a bad alternator. I was really in a bad way as I can't afford to have it serviced at a shop and with very little in the way of tools and know how when it comes to automobiles. I am very lucky to be able to take this car to one of the best doctors a car could have, Roy Hunter. First came a glow plug reaming and install along with new oil cooler lines. Then he installed a lift pump kit and did a valve adjustment. the springs in the lift pump were really worn out after 26 years of service. The ac problem was difficult to fix as he had to chase it down by installing used parts from his garage until he found the problem. It turned out to be a bad thermal couple located under the dash on the drivers side. Roy replaced the door check with one he had from his stock because he was tired of my squeaky door I got reamed out myself for dirty air and fuel filters and will not let this happen again. The results from these two trips to see the master were awesome, this car runs better than it every has. The car is now very responsive and will squeal the tires shifting to 2nd, cold start is great and purrs like a kitten. The ac will freeze you of the car. What a pleasure it is to drive this car now! The bonus is just hanging out with Roy as his banter and stories of things mechanical are great too. Thanks 100 times for your help Roy........Jim
