617 turbo injectors in a non turbo 617
I know that the turbo injectors open at 135 bar and the non-turbo injectors pop at 115 bar. My question is will using the turbo injectors in my non-turbo engine harm anything, or will it just run the same?
Thanks

It will have the effect of changing the injection timing.
Guys who run VO and bio sometimes install injectors with 140bar, simulates advancing the timing for a better burn of those fuels.

OK thanks. So it wont damage anything it just might run a bit different.
I want to install them for a bit and then when I get a chance go to a friends shop i'll take them out and shim them to 115 bar.

If the 'bit' is not more than several miles. You will have a retarded timing and it is much less than ideal. I would not do it for an extended time.
