Is even easier to hook up the connection to feed the purge to the prefilter if you have an old fuel line you can cut in half.....

I used the supply & return lines high on the inner fender, before they are routed back to the tank. They change from hoses to hard lines. I use the hose supplied with DP and use a short length of copper 3/16" I think, as a transition to the rubber lines to the pre filter. The DP cannister fits in the abyss and I just temporary tie up with baling wire. Let her rip and adjust the throttle right there.

Obviously you need not remove the IM, Just a photo I had.

I hope this helps, hope it is coherent...

Another thing to note: The purge in one bottle is enough to get you about 2 miles up the road before it runs out...

fuel filter

you can also fill the fuel filter with diesel purge, since you should proabbly replace this if your in the need of a purge, and then screw it back on and forget about messing with lines, especially since we all know the w210 air in the fuel line issues.

~75% of the fuel in the filter will be returned to the tank and not burned if you try to purge that way.

If you properly connect up to a temp tank, you'll understand.

x2 you *need* a temporary tank to do the purge properly. Adding it the filter or the fuel tank will not work. Diesel Purge is not a fuel additive.

That percentage is way too low. Try it with a separate supply and return container and you will see what I mean.

Where the hard lines go to hose, is the upper the return and the lower the supply?
