Who can tell me what else this shift rod end came in?

It came out of my 1980 300GD with a 5-speed. I broke it trying to adjust the shift rod length after a shifter rebuild. 2nd question... who has one you will sell it to me? This goes at the shifter end of the shift-rod.

Yea It's not clear where my transmission came from. It's behind an om617 and is a 5-speed Getrag. It has the later G shift pattern (Reverse to the left of 2nd). Sean @ EuroTruck Importers is getting me one of the link ends. It's probably the same as the one EPC shows for whatever vehicle you looked up. This has been about a $300 shifter rebuild. Oof.

I may end up getting a 240D shifter at this point so I have more spare parts to work with. Thanks.

240 shifter wont have any parts you need for a 5spd. but the rod ends are pretty much the same for all I have seen. some are hollowed out like the one you have and some are solid but they are pretty much interchangable

as a separate part, yes, but i'd bet you can buy any old '77-95 shifter linkage they have in stock in the states and voila you now have two ends in stock without waiting forever.
