I've got another trick for you.

Do the dirty work in the nude so that you won't soil any clothes/shoes in the process.

Hop in the shower/under the garden hose and ALL evidence destroyed.

On a serious note, I have a diesel tattoo as well.

I got mine replacing the electric radiator fan on a 1998 VW Jetta TDi.

The skin was flayed open and diesel/oil sludge was smeared into the wound simultaneously.

I just duct tape the injured body part back together and keep working. I don't like to get blood on anything I work on. I don't want to waste time on cleaning them later and blood on car parts doesn't look professional.

Yeah, holy crap, I sliced my self trying to get something that was inside the assembly while I had the seat out.

I use the slice and dice bloody mess method at least once a week. I have found it is good way to reduce cholesterol and remove other unwanted toxins and stuff from the body. Works good.

I love it when im workin away and i feel somthing wet, im thinkin, "Agggghhhh, what the hell is dripping on me now?" and turns out, its my own blood! You know its a good sharp cut when you dont even feel it! My projects and I have exchanged fluids plenty! I donate blood and i soak up some oil and grease! Working on vehicles for a living, i get hurt plenty. One of my better ones wasnt even bloody (externaly). I was loosening a UCA bolt on a 735i with my 18" Snap-On 1/2in ratchet pulling towards myself hard as i can and the socket slips off and i beam myself with the end of it right on my right lower eye socket on the bone! Whoa boy did i see stars! I went through a whole case of cold soda cans on my face and i still looked like a prize fighter hit me with a 2x4 LOL

Skippy~ As for perception: Drive what you like and can afford. Those who don't like it can supply vacuum to one of your components. LOL

If you need parts, I have some!

Yes, "Bludgeon naked" is what I always say. Showering off on the grass is a great idea. They never think to check your lawn for DNA evidence. Soon the little micro-organisms eat up all the blood, so there's nothing left to test

Hmm, makes wonder what kind of members frequent here. I better watch my back or at least watch what I say.
