i have a leaking oil pressure gauge on our 83 300td. i have available to me two gauge clusters from 300sd's. one from a 1981, and one from a 1983. will either one be ok to use?

No. 126 SD's have electrical oil pressure gauges, not mechanical.

Are you sure its the gauge? I've seen the flared end of the oil line crack and leak around the nut that secures it to the gauge. I presume you've removed the cluster to verify gauge rather than a loose/cracked oil line?
