Can't really see the interior and paint. If they are in good shape, I would pay $2000 but that's just me.

Hard to say from the pictures.
If A/C is working, and the interior and exterior are in good shape, I don't think you're out of line in your price.
That said, there is a serious dip in the sales of mid-level W123s as late. Bio/WVO craze has died down, and gas is cheap again. 3-4 years ago, your car could command more than you're asking easily.
Put it up for sale in the Buy/Sell section, and if nothing else, ebay it. Good luck.

I think your price is fair, but as UriahT mentioned, the W123 market isn't what it used to be. I've been following Craigslist here in Nor Cal, and cars that would have sold in a few days are staying up for weeks. The Biodiesel fad is over, and only people who can perform their own maintenance are going to purchase 25-30 year old cars.

I agree with what has already been said. You can add up to four pics - use them all and include some interior shots. Just keep reposting once a week and you'll get some hits - it takes awhile sometimes. I would probably offer you $2K in hopes of getting about $400 or $500 off the asking price. That's just me though.

That sounds like a steal to me, i would grab it in a heartbeat if i were you.
The maintenance facts he mentions alone are upwards of 5k dollars if you had them done.

I would want that much for Smash and he has no paint, so your price is more than fair. The $2000 suggestion is ridiculous!!!
Bide your time. It will sell. Again, you are priced below what I would want for a wagon such as yours. The market may be down, but don't let that cause you to give away a desirable commodity. Somebody will want that.
Just my opinion.

If you don't mind holding it for awhile until the right buyer comes along then you are probably priced right. If you need/want to sell it quickly you should drop the price.

Yeah, you should definitely be able to sell it for that much. Hold out for the $3000. For any advertisement, by the way, drop the caps. It may not be affecting buyers, but it's more likely to turn someone off than reel 'em in. No one wants to read that.

If you have experience with Ebay, can take good pics that present the car well, good feedback, etc. Then I say Ebay would be the way to go. I really can't tell much from the little pics on CL. If the underneath of the car really is rust free and undamaged, showing that in pictures would help buyers feel more confident.

X2 - Brandon makes a good point here. You'd hit a wider audience on eBay and you could set the minimum price you are willing to take on it and then let people bid it out from there. It would probably make you more money in the end, you'd just have to figure out how the "shipping" would work - but I would just make the buyer responsible for pickup.

Yes that is garden of the gods in the background. Thanks for all suggestions. Feels good to know I'm not that far out of line. Its hard to find one of these that almost everything works on including self leveling AC and cruise, but I guess the times dictate the market.

I've been scanning CL in the Denver area for a while now but I still don't see your ad... not sure why it's not coming up - I even went directly to the Colorado Springs section but I still am unable to type in search criteria to retrieve your ride... sorry - maybe I'm doing something wrong, but you're sure invisible to me...

Looks like a good ride - somebody will bite...
