don't forget to use an air powered die grinder to match the ports on your manifold, with the gaskets you buy

When removing the manifolds, there are 7 17mm nuts that hold the manifolds on.

There usually is a brace under the turbo, think the nut and bolt is 17mm.
Have fun with that one.

2 13mm bolts on top of the turbo for the oil supply line,
2 13mm bolts under the turbo for the return pipe.

Down pipe has 3 nuts. 12mm
might have to remove the 2 bolts at the flange where the 2 pipes bolt together and the U-clamp at the trans.
this lets the pipe drop down after whacking it with a brass drift, it`s usually stuck to the turbo.

pull the manifolds and turbo off together, then remove the turbo from the exhaust manifold.

Look in the Buy Parts tab above for a Turbo Gasket Kit. Has about everything you will need. $40 or so.

All Parts Express
Mercedes
(year) 82
300SD
Engine Seals Gaskets & Sets
Turbocharger Gasket Set Part# MBZ058806

I used 82 and a SD, but will work for the 300D turbo`s also.

Looks like every thing in the set should be there.
