Maybe a dumb question but here goes...
Does the fuel get pumped through the fuel filter or is it pulled through the fuel filter?

My gut says that it's pulled through the inline filter by the lift pump, and there's pushing from the lift pump combined with pulling from the IP that gets it through the primary.

Probably wrong but it's fun to speculate!
