190D dash switch question - No owner manual

84 190D Project car does not come with owner manual. Almost road ready now but I am stumped on a switch. I toggle it and nothing happens. Any idea which light it is for? The picture is not the real car, it is NOT that nice, far from it.

Any info is appreciated.

it's the rear light for the back seat.

Rear dome light switch on my 86 190d.

Thanks

That is what I gather but it am not 100% sure. The rear light comes on when I open the back doors. May be the switch itself. I will take a look.

it's almost certainly either the switch or a fuse that's at fault. first check the fuse box lid to see which fuse controls rear dome light, change that fuse and see if it works

by the way, the picture above shows a n-am spec 190e 2.3-16, not a 190d ;)

It was the switch. Replaced it and now I can toggle the rear dome light on and off. I knew it was not the fuse as the dome light came on when the rear door was opened. Also the picture was NOT my 190 project car, it is reasonably nice but is not that nice. It was mentioned in the original post.

Thank you guys.:)
