Valve Adjustment
 

I searched but did not find a how to on valve adjustments.(pics would be great) Does anyone have a link? If not, any advice? I will be doing one on a 1973 220d. Thanks in advance.

Search again, there is no shortage of info on valve adjustments here. Use the advanced search function and do a "Titles Only" search on "valve adjustment." If you need pics look for posts that have attachments. Here is a good one from Cervan:
