180 Collectible Cars found in Portugal Barn

I'm sure there must be a diesel in the bunch so maybe this topic is OK. Very interesting to us car guys. A lot of myth emails going around but this seems to be an accurate link to follow.

Not for Sale

Apparently they are not for sale according to the photographer. He was sworn to secrecy on the owner's name and location.

The story and pictures have been around for several years. I never tire of reading such things though. The story told sounds true enough. There can be many reasons why they are just sitting there including such exotic reasons as the owner accumulated them with ill gotten gains.

A few years back there was a very valuable mid fifties sports racing Ferrari unearthed (literally) where a son had stashed it when his father who was involved in some shady doings and was (IIRC) actually killed by some of his "business" associates. The son hid the car so that the associates and or the IRS could not grab it IIRC. It languished for forty some years and was eventually dug out sold and restored to like new condition.

It was worth several Million I believe in the end.
